CNC Milling

Using a milling machine to produce the shape required for the model. It is a lengthy process but highly robust when accuracy and precision are paramount.

3D Printing

Connecting a 3D drawing to 3D printer takes less time but is more expensive.

Rapid Moulding

Rapid moulding and tooling is an extremely useful process.  During prototyping, it greatly reduces the time to produce an acceptable standard for testing.  The production time for the actual tool is greatly reduced but there is a compromise in the detail of the finished tool that means the tolerances and finishes are less exacting.  Nonetheless, during the development stages, this method allows for a greater number of iterations and cuts the time to market significantly.  It is ideal for troubleshooting, producing small quantities for testing or marketing, experimentation with different materials and other benefits.  It is not a substitute for conventional toolmaking but an invaluable strategic process for enhancing commerciality.
